It's been so long since I've posted here. Ok, I promise to stop being so lazy and drag this blog out of its grave as of now! Next post soon, and till then, here's a gif of my dog surprising you!
Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie - nominated for a Grammy in the Best Short Form Music Video category
Absolutely stunning effects done via stop motion. Love the song too :)
Fun Facts from Oren's MySpace: * The video was shot all stills - roughly 3225 still photos for the entire video, using one camera, hanging from the ceiling for the main body of the movie. * It took 4 weeks before shooting to create an animated computer generated storyboard for the video, with 3d dummies for the characters. * It took only 2 days of shooting for the live actors on set to re-create the 3.5 minutes computer sequence, frame by frame. * Some of the bed sheets used in the video were taken from Oren’s own bedroom and are now considered collectors items, worth at the moment not very much and therefore used as bed sheets.
Trace option on Artrage with pen. Wording came to me after watching the movie '28 Days' last week with Boy. Not so very happy with hand, legs and tum. Oh well.
A new style I'm trying. Just a simplistic drawing and a thought. This one was cooked up when I was thinking about a typical scene of a mother combing her young daughter's hair. The daughter grows up to be powerful, because she takes charge of the household reins which the mother hands over. Lots of interlacing thoughts as well. :)
I ALMOST walked into this hot manager in the elevator. Almost. Dammit. I have horrible timing. I wish I did walk into him, and fall down spraining something insignificant in the process, where he'd have to assist me 8 floors down (since I’d be hobbling). Why assist me 8 floors? Why some timely miracle would stuck the elevator of course! and then he'd be my friend forever. sigh.
